Bomb, boycott: Israel, Turkey

I accidentally posted something here meant for my samarkeolog post, where I've moved it to.

It stitched together a few odds and ends:

• about the fact that, "in Jerusalem archaeology is politics";
• about the "Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities call[ing] for [a] boycott" of the excavations near the Temple Mount/Haram al-Sharif;
• about the "countdown for or against start of Ilisu-dam-project"; and
• about the fact that "Protesters threw firebombs at three buses in Istanbul on Saturday [the 3rd of March 2007].
